Awards
Eligible candidates may apply for Travel Awards and the Tabor award during the abstract submission process by checking the appropriate box. Those applying must be a member of either SFG or ASMB (or both). You will need to submit documents including your CV and a letter of recommendation from a member sponsor during abstract submission. Selections will be made during the abstract review period and notifications will be sent by mid-August 2012.

ISMB Awards
2012 Disinguished Investigator Award: TBA
ISMB Travel Grants
The ISMB will award three Travel Grants to attend the 2012 ASMB/SFG meeting. Applications are invited from international young scientists to present their work at the meeting (see www.ismb.org for more information). To apply, when submitting an abstract, check the appropriate box to indicate your interest in applying for a travel award and submit supporting documents (CV, letter of recommendation). Abstract submission and travel award application deadline is July 2, 2012.
FASEB MARC Poster/Platform (Oral) Presenter Travel Awards
Each award helps to defray meeting registration and travel-related expenses (lodging, transportation, per diem) for an eligible underrepresented minority undergraduate, graduate student, post-baccalaureate or postdoctoral fellow who is 1st author and has been selected to give an oral or poster presentation at the 2012 ASMB/SFG Joint Meeting.The FASEB MARC application receipt deadline is 5:00PM Eastern Time on September 28, 2012.
